Services

Four kinds of help.
One person who does all of them.

Because community organisations and volunteer-led groups rarely have one neat problem to solve.

Good words are doing
more work than you think.

They’re the first impression before someone meets you. The thing that makes a stranger decide to trust you. The record of everything you’ve built. Most of the organisations I work with are brilliant at what they do and genuinely terrible at talking about it. That’s where I come in.

I write things that sound like you — only clearer, sharper, and easier to trust. Whether that’s an about page that finally sounds right, a workbook that turns what you know into something other people can actually use, or a welcome letter that makes someone feel they’ve joined something properly run before they’ve even walked through the door.

I also write CVs for people who need to get past the algorithm and in front of a human being. If you’ve been somewhere for a long time, if you have a gap in your employment history, or if the job market looks nothing like it did the last time you looked — this is a specialism worth having on your side.

What this looks like

  • Website copy & about pages
  • Blog posts & articles
  • Workbooks, guides & lead magnets
  • Printables & digital downloads
  • Press releases & press kits
  • Welcome letters & onboarding documents
  • Templated emails & FAQs
  • Brochures, forms & promotional copy
  • CV writing & ATS strategy
  • Editing & proofreading

It doesn’t have to cost a fortune
to look like it did.

I work on print and digital materials that feel cohesive, professional, and like they actually belong to you — not like they came from a template someone half-customised on a Tuesday afternoon.

Posters that look good on a wall. Programmes that people keep. Business cards that feel like you meant it. Everything I design is made for you specifically — bespoke images, bespoke layout, no stock-image licensing to worry about. The kind of thing that makes people assume you’re bigger than you are, in the best possible way.

I can also show you what your branded social presence could look like — what your Instagram grid or Facebook page would feel like once your visual identity is properly defined. That’s branding, not social media management. I don’t run accounts or create content on an ongoing basis, but I can give you a clear picture of what the look and feel should be so whoever does it gets it right.

What this looks like

  • Logos & brand identity
  • Posters, flyers & programmes
  • Business cards & stationery
  • Menus, certificates & tickets
  • Invitations, postcards & RSVP cards
  • Workbooks & printable forms
  • Brochures & publications
  • Event signage & displays
  • Newsletters & email headers
  • Custom bespoke images
  • Brand visualisation — social, digital & print
  • Brand guidelines & partner packs

A website should work for you.
Not be another thing to manage.

I build and maintain clean, functional websites for community organisations, volunteer-led groups, freelancers, and independent businesses — the kind that load quickly, look right on a phone, and don’t require a developer every time you need to change a paragraph.

That includes bio and promo sites for musicians, singers, and bands: something professional to point people to that works as hard as your performance does. I also build the things around the website that nobody talks about but everyone needs: contact forms, booking flows, ticketing integrations, and behind-the-scenes tools that make the practical side of running something a lot less painful.

What this looks like

  • Website design & build
  • Site updates & maintenance
  • Contact forms & integrations
  • Ticketing & event registration
  • Email configuration & setup
  • Basic SEO & metadata

The pillar most people don’t know
they need until they’re drowning.

Seven spreadsheets, a shared drive nobody can find anything in, and a member database that lives entirely in one person’s head. I’ve seen it more times than I can count. I’ve lived it. And I’ve built my way out of it.

I build operational infrastructure: the systems that hold an organisation together and make it possible for more than one person to keep track of what’s happening. This includes bespoke Coda systems for member management, spreadsheet templates that work as an affordable starting point, and the kind of process thinking that means your organisation doesn’t collapse the moment a key person steps back.

What this looks like

  • Coda member management system
  • Spreadsheet templates & admin packs
  • Process documentation
  • Member onboarding infrastructure
  • Contacts & supplier directories
  • Concert & event planning tools

I don’t do packages. I do conversations.

Every organisation is different. What you need might be one thing from one pillar, or it might be a mix of all four over time. The best way to figure that out is to talk about it.

I work with community organisations, volunteer-led groups, freelancers, independent businesses, and sole traders. I don’t have a minimum project size or a minimum budget. What I care about is whether the work matters and whether I’m the right person to help with it.

Tell me what’s not working.

We’ll figure out together what might actually help.
